Quality Control Chemist
Bactolac Pharmaceutical seeks Quality Control Chemists in Hauppauge, NY to scientifically analyze and test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using modern quality control techniques including UV-Vis, ICP, HPLC, GC, DSC, and IR spectroscopy.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems; validate analytical testing results as per USP, BP, EP, ICH, and US FDA guidelines; create validation protocols and SOPs; conduct in-process manufacturing checks; calibrate analytical instruments. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmacy plus 2 years relevant experience required. Annual salary: $70,000.
Equipment & Maintenance Engineer
Bactolac Pharmaceutical seeks Equipment/Maintenance Engineers in Hauppauge, NY to analyze equipment specifications, produce conceptual and practical machine designs, and optimize operating and maintenance control systems for high-speed nutraceutical manufacturing machinery.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Draft technical design drawings and analysis reports; optimize line layouts for equipment placement and custom modifications to maximize efficiency; perform troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance on blending, encapsulation, and tableting machinery; execute IQ, OQ, and PQ validation protocols under cGMP standards. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
Formulation & Production Specialist
Collaborate with our R&D team to assist in custom supplement formulation, powder particle-size engineering, capsule filling, and compressed tablet scale-up. Candidate will monitor batch uniformity, excipient flowability, and organoleptic properties across high-capacity production lines.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Experience in dietary supplement manufacturing, knowledge of cGMP regulations, strong mathematical and analytical capabilities, and background in chemical blending or food science preferred.
